About us
Agency for Community Inclusion and Empowerment (ACIE) is a legally registered Community Service Organization (CSO) established in Somalia.
Somalia has faced significant challenges including conflicts, natural disasters such as floods and severe droughts, and the resulting displacement of people, leading to a humanitarian crisis. These ongoing issues have had a profound impact on the country and its population.
ACIE was established to provide emergency relief assistance, including food, water, shelter, and medical aid to affected populations by the crisis in an inclusive way in order to develop concrete assistance strategies that will have a positive impact on the security and livelihoods of all vulnerable communities.
We Focus on
Community Mobilization and Trainings
Are conducted targeting community based organizations (CBOs), opinion leaders, youth groups, women groups and law enforcement officers. Given the inequality in access to and control over resources in favor of men.
Advocacy and Networking
ACIE advocates and promotes for sustainability, participatory and community based approaches and promotes co-operation, information and experience sharing harmony of working.
Research and Information Dissemination
ACIE conducts research aimed at revealing priority needs for development, identifying problem areas and challenges in specific areas. The information gathered is made available to all
