Agency for Community Integration and Empowerment (ACIE) is a Community Service Organization (CSO) established in 2017 in Somalia.
In 2017, Somalia experienced a severe drought that resulted in a humanitarian crisis. The drought was caused by a combination of factors, including below-average rainfall, failed seasonal rains, and the impact of El Niño weather patterns. ACIE was established to provide response to the crisis in an inclusive way by providing emergency aid, including food, water, and medical assistance.
